Some of the notable investments that CEFC made in 2018-19 include:
- $250 million for the construction of the Kiamal Solar Farm in Victoria, which is Australia’s largest utility-scale solar PV project.
- – $130 million for the Bald Hills Wind Farm in Queensland, which will be one of Australia’s largest wind farms once completed.
- – $100 million for the Gullen Range Wind Farm near Canberra, which will be the first wind farm in New South Wales to use next-generation turbines.
CEFC’s investments are not only helping to combat climate change, but they are also providing a boost to the Australian economy. In total, CEFC’s investments are expected to generate around $5 billion in economic activity and create more than 8,000 jobs across Australia.
