Encompass Health is a leading provider of rehabilitative and post-acute Healthcare services across more than 750 locations in 36 states and Puerto Rico through its network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies and hospice agencies.
The company offers both facility-based and home-based patient care through its continuum of services. At its facilities, Encompass Health provides a more intensive level of rehabilitation care. Services are also provided through home health and hospice agencies to enable patients to receive follow-up care and continued support in their homes or wherever they reside.
In addition to its inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health and hospice agency locations, Encompass Health operates four free-standing inpatient rehabilitation hospitals that do not provide post-acute skilled nursing care.
